ALEXANDRIA, Ky. (WKRC) - An Alexandria man was arrested after investigators say he asked a minor for sexual images. However, Kevin Schwarber was really communicating with a police officer. Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney Rob Sanders says Schwarber reached out to the officer online. That led to a nearly month-long investigation. According to Sanders, Schwarber asked about the sexual history of the minor he thought he was talking to. He also allegedly asked for sexual images and sent sexually explicit images. Detectives tracked Schwarber down through his internet use. They arrested him at his workplace in Covington in March. A Kenton County grand jury recently indicted him. Schwarber faces a charge of prohibited use of an electronic communication system to procure a minor or peace officer for a sex offense. He is out on bond.
