$60 Bourbon Battle | Blind Tasting Head-to-Head

Brian and Ryan are back with another Pour Decisions bourbon battle! This time it’s a bourbon challenge with real stakes and real pride. We each hit a local liquor store in Lebanon, Tennessee to pick what we think is the best bourbon under $60 (pre-tax), then bring both bottles back for a true blind bourbon tasting using Pour Decisions black Glencairn glasses! We judge each pour on nose, palate, and finish (0–10 scale), tally the scores, and reveal which bottle wins the head-to-head. Expect honest tasting notes, a little smack talk, and some surprisingly specific flavors including maraschino cherry, vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, baking spice, burnt Crème Brulé sugar, and even a musty “barrel funk” that caught us off guard.
