The Georgetown Hoyas easily defeated the Pitt Panthers 65-42 to win their first Big East Championship since 1989. The Hoyas were lead by Jeff Green (21 pts) and Roy Hibbert (18 pts, 11 rbs), while Sam Young (10 pts) was the only Panther in double figures.
