LASVIT - GLASS BUBBLES ǀ BUTTERFLY KARLÍN

A bunch of bubbles from close-up, but take a few steps back and you will face four historical figures that shaped Prague´s Karlín neighbourhood. Breathtaking glass portraits designed by Maxim Velcovsky are covering the lobbies of the Butterfly Karlín office space with a sense of playfulness and lightness. These “glass paintings” show the faces of the Austrian Empress consort Caroline Augusta of Bavaria, the inventor František Křižík, the legendary Czech industrialist Emil Kolben, and the actress Olga Scheinpfluge.
