Description Tempeh pepper fry is very tasty side dish for chapati or porota. It is made by natural culturing and controlled fermentation process that binds soybeans in to a cake form. Tempeh has a strong, nutty flavour. It also tends to absorbs the flavours of any food or sauce to which it is added, and it can be used to replace meat in a recipe. #sharanyakitchen Ingredients Tempeh ( fermented soybeans) 200 gms Coriander powder 1 tsp Red chilli powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp Pepper powder 1 tsp Garam masala powder 3/4 tsp Salt according to taste Oil 2 tbsp Ghee 1 tbsp Cinnamon Cardamom Star anise Clove Ginger 1 tbsp Garlic 5 Shallots 20 nos Green chilli 1 Tomato 2 Coriander powder 1/2 tsp Pepper powder 3/4 tsp Garam masala powder 1/4 tsp Lemon juice 1/2 lemon squeezed Method 1. Take 200 gms tempeh in to a large bowl add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Coriander powder, black pepper powder, garam masala powder, and salt 2. Mix well and marinate 10 minutes 3. Shallow fry and keep aside 4. Take another pan add ghee, Clove,cinnamon, cardamom and star anise 5. Add onion, ginger, garlic, and green chilli 6. Saute 7. Add tomato 8. Add coriander powder, black pepper powder, garam masala powder and salt 9. Saute few minutes 10. Add fried tempeh and mix altogether 11. Serve with chapati or porota
