Glory + Ahead of the Road (Season 2 Ep.16) | Vinland Saga (OST) by Yutaka Yamada

So, in a crucial scene centered on Armheim in the latest episode of Vinland Saga Season 2, I was really excited to witness an incredible montage of two tracks from the OST of Season 1, "Glory" and "Ahead of the Road". These are among my favourite tracks from the soundtrack, and in this heart-felt scene the score really managed to move the emotions and elevate this moment to one of the highlights of the season so far. For this video I managed to recreate as closely as possible the mix featured in the anime. Both "Glory" and "Ahead of the Road" featured minimal editing or cuts, which I was able to get mostly right, but one portion in the transition between the two tracks featured some unreleased variation of "Glory" with flutes instead of violin solo. I tried to remove the vocals and keep the music as audible as possible, although you can still hear some noises when dialogue was playing above. Rather than sharing the music aline with some pictured, I though it would be cool to post the full scene from the anime featuring music only. I think that, this way, the music can be appreciated even more.
