Let's Play Batman: Arkham Knight Modded - Part 4 (No Commentary - PC Gameplay)

Dedicated to the legendary Kevin Conroy Very light modding mainly balancing the colours, there are very few mods available outside of skins. Graphics turned up to 11. See more details further below. Arkham Knight is the perfect ending to a legendary series, that kept reinventing, polishing and enhancing on it's own core gameplay loops and came out all the better for it. It is a game that sits firmly on top of my "Top 10" list, as it is simply the best Batman game and the best in it's genre. The story remains super interesting, well acted out, with twists and turns that just keeps you surprised and guessing. They perfected the recipes from the previous games, making combat slick, beautiful and more involved as well as added a fantastic rendition of the Batmobile, which seems to seamlessly fit into the universe. They pulled no stops on the graphics, which is such an awe-inspiring experience, as you really take in all the small details. Rain runs down Batman's cape, the lighting plays well off all the reflections, the nuances and everything. Just like Arkham Origins, this game was launched on the PC super broken and was, actually, pulled from stores when reviews came out about how terribly it ran and performed. WB did us a solid, giving the developers time to fix up their wonderful but eventually that good will stopped and what we were left with is.. well, let me just explain what I had to do to record this. If you enable everything in graphics and, believe me, you want to, you will eventually crash. It can be from 12 minutes in (my experience) to several hours. It comes out of nowhere, can't always be replicated. The general "fix" or "workaround" was to disable several of the prettiest and coolest of the graphic options, but I kept going. I tried to do the same with Arkham Origins and it's DX11 function, but that was too broken to be fixed. To fix the crashing, I had to use an nvidia driver that was from 2020. Which does not have NVENC, which means OBS does not support it so this was all recorded with a CPU encoder. See my Mastodon if you need an URL, as well as the error codes I received. The modding is a reshade, made by the amazing creator of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City's Redux mods. It's a simple tweak, which removes the green hue and it just feels like a day and night change. Much like the strange orange tint to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, changing it just makes everything else pop. The green tint was an artistic touch from Rocksteady, so it isn't their proper artistic vision you will be seeing. Mod link: https://www.nexusmods.com/batmanarkha...
