Hello and welcome to the ninth episode of my St. Louis Rams Franchise series. In today's episode, the Rams announce their first trade of the season. Series Description: Many players in the Rams organization believe this could be the year they make the playoffs for the first time since 2004. With a new quarterback who brings stability to the position, a strong defensive core and a young group of good wide receivers, this could be the year. The biggest problem though? Off-field distractions, mainly a possible move to Inglewood, Cali. by 2017. They’re competing with the San Diego Chargers and the Oakland Raiders (who are both proposing a new stadium in Carson, Cali.) as well as the league for the right to do so. Time will tell if the Rams do move, but for now, if they can ignore distractions such as those, then this could be the year the playoff drought ends.
