State Department: One China Policy Has Not Changed; No Position on Taiwan Sovereignty (9/26/22)

At a press briefing on Monday, U.S. State Department Spokesman Ned Price asserted that the ‘One China Policy’ of the United States has not changed and clarified that this policy takes no position on the sovereignty of Taiwan. He also addressed matters including collaborations between North Korea and the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and unjustly detained prisoners in China.
