Pyramid Head First Encounter!! :'X - Silent Hill 2 Remake Playthrough: Part 8 (Let's Play/PC/Horror)

Time for our first encounter with Pyramid Head, he's just suddenly here!!! :S I don;t even know how or why, but his first appearance is not something I'll forget in a hurry. Time for more Silent Hill 2 Remake Previously we were a bit stuck despite our best efforts, that said, finding coins seemed to be very important. With that in mind we set out to find another one. Fortunately it turned out to be not too hard especially appreciated as the place seems to be getting creepier, we just had to crawl through that little hole we kept seeing and wondering how to crawl through! ;'D Aw well! Through it we're back at the garbage chute but there's a pack of "Bloody Apple" juice type stuff for some reason, and also for some reason we can throw it down the chute. In yet another "for some reason" special, it causes a coin to fly out the bottom and into the courtyard below. We head to the courtyard and grab the Woman coin. We go to the strange coin puzzle box thing and begin fiddling. Going to be straight, it;s extremely confusing at times and working out the coin puzzle solutions takes ages but eventually we get there and are given an Apartment 201 Key for our trouble. Seems fairly dull but it has to be important somehow knowing this game. Sure enough that apartment IS significant, VERY significant. We enter and at first it all seems fairly well kept and nice, the only real odd thing is a giant metal door in the wall, that has a distinctly bad vibe to it (as well as being obviously out of place). Still, how interesting could it be? The only thing to see really is a scrap of cloth of handkerchief or something that seemingly has meaning to James. Then everything changes very suddenly. It starts with what looks like a body flying across the room with a crunchy noise, followed by a view of Pyramid head himself doing unspeakable things to one of the weird mannequin enemies. James, as ever, seems barely concerned by this, he does however decide to hide in a nearby closet for once. Pyramid head seems to know we're there though as he comes in, moving in a freaky twitchy way and stomping towards it. James decides to shoot the thing, can't say I entirely blame him this time and in fairness he does go for the head, but it doesn't do a damn thing. If anything though, the monster just seems kind of curious and mildly irritated, then grabs his mannequin by the leg and leaves. We head through the ominous door after grabbing the handkerchief cus it seems like the thing to do honestly and Pyramid Head went the other way. It very quickly seems apparent that we're in some sort of alternate world, other side type place. it;s the same apartment but inverted, what's clean there is dirty here etc. The grime and filth of this new area is much more what i expected from Silent Hill and there are enemies here to keep us on our toes, not the big guy though, thank goodness. There's lots of interesting and bizarre stuff here including a door covered with "M"'s and moths. I have no idea where we are but something has definitely changed in this game now!
