Two key developments have unfolded. First, Contrary to the expectations of lawyers, legal experts and media pundits, Islamabad High Court has simply refused entertaining Imran Khan's bail application and the hearing on this has been adjourned for an indefinite time. This confirms my fears in the earlier Vlog, that Imran Khan's arrest and the verdict against him had nothing to do with the process of law and has everything to do with the regional and international power dynamics between the US, China and India - where India's ascendancy is needed through a submissive compliant Pakistan.
