Three games today. The first of which would have easily fit in yesterday had I not had to redo 1943 Kai. The second took some rewinding. And the third was a game I already knew I enjoyed, a personal favorite in arcades. A varied set today too, and one with a few typos. Capcom, you need to do better than that. Last Duel: A shmup with two modes, one with a car, one with a jet. Your vehicle alternates between them each level. It's not bad. Short, very short. Surprisingly short. Not overly difficult, though the last, ice driving level was frustrating at points. The plane sections have a few areas with very tight squeezes that are hard to dodge, but you have a barrel roll function to get through them. Which also acts as an attack for a few enemies. Overall I did enjoy this game, but that's probably only because it didn't last long enough to make me upset. Rally 2011: LED Storm: I want to play Bump 'n Jump. That's my take-away from this game. It just reminds me too much of the older game. This one itself isn't bad, though it does contain Arcade mechanics of "collect all the energy or game over", you have to be near perfect. And, frustratingly, some of the energy drifts off the track so you can't get it. That I didn't like. But overall? Eh, it's a game. One I would have enjoyed putting a quarter in now and then. But just one quarter, I think. Magic Sword: A personal favorite of mine. I've played through this game several times over. Never a 1CC, of course, but I like the premise, I like the graphics, and I like the style. It has some arcade annoyances. You have one item slot, and no way to get the old item back if you touch a new one. Worse though as the companions. You have to open gates to get them. But you don't know what's behind the gate until you open it. You get bonuses for getting the same one repeatedly.. but since you don't know what's in it, you risk just losing your companion for a different one whenever you open one. Because arcade games have to punish players. -- Watch live at / the_nametag Humble Bundle Partner link: https://www.humblebundle.com/?partner...
