Time Lapsed Oil Speed Painting EVERYTHING MUST GO by Dave Santia

My latest time lapsed oil painting (as of August 6th, 2010). Titled "Everything Must Go". A bit of a departure from my regular artwork both in subject matter and style, it tells the story of two people: a store owner going out of business, unknown to what the future has for him; and an old man who's already lost everything and is used to the fact that you can't stop time from moving forward. The store owner has nothing but troubles ahead. However, the old man is already adjusted to the fact that he's lost everything. The old man's friends and family long gone, he now realizes material things don't matter anymore, and every day he is alive is a good day. Total time lapsed is 20 hours. The song used is "One Of These Mornings" by Moby, featuring Patti LaBelle.
