MX Garand supply drop opening! [READ DESC]

I was extremely fortunate the other day to open a rare supply drop and get the MX Garand assault rifle. While I am very happy that I get to use it, I still am unhappy with this added on RNG element to the game. I don't think it's a good idea for the franchise at all, and a large amount of the community agrees with me. I have never bought COD points, I was fortunate enough to get this gun solely through earning cryptokeys. Once again, PISSING OFF A LARGE AMOUNT OF YOUR FANBASE IS NOT WORTH THE EXTRA REVENUE, GIVEN THE AMOUNT OF TRUST YOU'VE GAINED BACK FROM THE COMMUNITY AFTER THIS GAME (FFS THEY SAID THEY'D ONLY BE COSMETIC). If you are going to include weapons in the supply drops, keep them strictly cosmetic. The melee weapons were a fine addition because they didn't alter gameplay, like the new guns potentially could.
