Now even with the hue and cry over appointments of parastatal chairpersons, western Kenya is noticeably one of the regions that yet again seems not to have had a piece of the Jubilee cake. However it would appear that the Jubilee administration is keen to woo the region that overwhelmingly voted for the coalition for reforms and democracy, Cord - with yet another appearance by deputy president William Ruto in the region on Saturday. And as Jacky Maribe reports, the deputy president is expected at the coast on Sunday, another region perceived part of the opposition stronghold.
