Man taken into custody after Highway 50 standoff in El Dorado County

A suspect has been taken into custody following an hours-long standoff on Highway 50 in El Dorado County and the highway has reopened. KCRA 3's camera showed police pulling a man out of a blue pickup before 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Highway 50 had been closed in both directions in the Camino area for about three hours as police were in a standoff situation with the man, who earlier led officers on a high-speed chase, authorities said.
