Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claims that Russian forces are planning to do “something in the South”. Ukraine has said that Russia has fired at Sumy Oblast over 80 times on Nov. 29. Ukraine said Russian shelling destroyed at least half a dozen private houses, outbuildings, and a gas pipeline in Nikopol district. Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has called on the NATO to repent and dissolve itself. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has pledged the delivery of more Gepard anti-aircraft tanks to Ukraine. The German chancellor condemned the ongoing shelling and assured Ukraine of further short-term assistance. Meanwhile, the US has said that it currently has no plans to provide Patriot batteries to Ukraine. While Ukraine has asked for the system for months, the US has been hesitant to provide it to avoid further provoking Russia.
