Task Guide ( same copy pasta from old video but still relevant ) • CarX - Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Wheel ... - Previous Video on this topic Task 1 - Initiate drift and catch car - let off throttle and allow car to straighten up, practice doing short & long drifts to see how the car behaves when coming out of the drift. Task 2 - Long, constant drifts - This is not easy to start with, find the balance using the wheel to correct the cars angle, use maximum throttle to begin with. Counter steer - If you turn into the drift be ready to allow the wheel to 'Counter steer' to match the angle of drift! Try not to over correct doing this, as it will result in more corrections need to settle the car. You can further your skills in this task by learning how to make smaller circles by modulating the throttle. Make sure you master long, max power drifts first. Task 3 - Transitions - With the tune on the car this should be as easy as it can be for beginners to try. The key to transitions is to allow the car to change direction on its own by slightly holding the drift a second longer than feels right, to build momentum for the car to change sides with enough momentum to continue to drift. This is NOT easy to learn and will require some good seat time and patience! Good Luck!
