Relatives mourn loss of 6 family members killed in house fire

(16 Jun 2014) The relatives of six family members killed in a house fire in the US State of New Jersey mourned their loss on Sunday. Iris Sydney, a grandmother visited the scene of the deadly house fire in Newark. Her teenage grandson and his mother were among those killed in the blaze. Sydney told The Associated Press that her grandson was to meet her for Father's Day at the church his father attended before he died in an accident two years ago. She said the 15-year-old child didn't show up and when she returned home, an Essex County sheriff's deputy told her the news of his death. Authorities have not identified the victims and have opened an investigation. Friends and family members held a small vigil on Sunday in honour of the victims.
