Tropical Storm Gabrielle forms in the Atlantic

Tropical Storm Gabrielle has formed in the central Atlantic. The seventh named storm of the season could become the second hurricane of the 2025 Atlantic season some time this weekend. The tropical storm has winds of 45 mph with higher gusts. It's also a particularly large system on its north-south axis, with thunderstorm activity around 1000 miles across.
