The chapter starts with the brothers trying to sneak into the auction place by jumping around and avoiding guards to eventually get in with elegant suits to meet up with Sully (an old friend who is going to help them with this mission to get the lost cross artifact which they lost after the prison incident). The plan is to cut the lights and steal the artifact while the room is dark. Nathan will cut the power, while Sam will steal a waiter's uniform so it won't look suspicious with him standing right next to the artifact and wandering around the place with freedom, while Sully will be there for backup in case something happens. However, Nathan first would have to get some keys from a guy to be able to open a door that will help him to get to the power tower. As it turns out, Rafe (who was with the brothers in the prison in chapter 2:    • Uncharted 4: A Thief's End | Chapter 2 - G...  ) is also at the auction and is going to outbid anyone for this artifact since he is suspecting it holds the next key he needs and because he is also hunting the same Avery treasure. He is remained hot on the trail of the treasure all these years, along with his new sidekick Nadine Ross, a woman who owns an army-for-hire called Shoreline. They both have been taking apart the land around the previously mentioned Cathedral, but have come up short. The plan works out to a degree... Sam takes the piece while the power is cut, but Rafe & Nadine know Sully and Nathan are to blame for the chaos and that most probably they are the ones who stole the artifact. Time to escape the auction, but not without a few fights ...
