Hunan-styled Chinese acrobatics mesmerized spectators in the Dominican Republic.

May 1st, to celebrate the 5th anniversary of China-Dominican Republic diplomatic relations, Hunan Acrobatic Art Theater performance troupe brought a feast of art to over 1,000 distinguished guests including representatives from all walks of life in Dominica Chinese-funded institutions and overseas Chinese. This was the first #Chinese cultural group to visit the #Dominican Republic since COVID-19 and the first cultural exchange group from Hunan Province in three years.   Chinese Ambassador to the Dominican Republic Chen Luning, Dominican First Lady Raquel Arbaje, former President Hipólito Mejía, and others attended the event.   May 3rd, local time. The second performance took place at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo. The audience was amazed once again by the excellent Chinese traditional culture with Hunan characteristics. The performance earned thunderous applause and praise from the audience.
