In camp at Clemens Point, Bill proposes robbing the bank in Valentine to Arthur, who initially hesitates but eventually agrees. Lenny joins them, and they change into disguises. Before leaving, Strauss tasks Arthur with reclaiming a debt from Thomas Downes' widow. In Valentine, Karen enters the bank pretending to be either a drunken harlot or a lost dame to distract the patrons. Arthur, Bill, and Lenny then burst in, and Lenny gives Karen the key to open the vault door. The gang forces the teller to open the vault, but when he can't open the safes, the player must choose to either crack them silently or use dynamite. After looting the safes, they fight their way out of the bank. They mount up and ride out of town, pursued by lawmen. They kill pursuing lawmen, eventually losing them thanks to a passing train, and split the cash. Afterward, Arthur goes to the Downes Ranch to collect the debt, facing a minor confrontation with Thomas's widow's son. She gives him the money, and Arthur returns to camp.
