Reformatting a flash drive to EXFAT file type. "Erase Process has failed" error on Mac SOLVED.

Reformatting a flash drive to EXFAT file type. "Erase Process has failed" error on Mac SOLVED.

Any files larger than 4GB are not able to be copied to many of the flash drives made because of the exfat file size limit. The way to fix this is to reformat the flash drive to another file type, like the EXFAT file type which will work on a Mac or PC. The problem I had today is that my Mac gives me the error "Erase Process has failed" when I tried to format my flash drive to exfat, and it leaves me stranded and the drive greyed out. I was able to make it work by following the easy steps laid out in this video. I hope this video helps you fix the error.
