During the time of worship, I felt a mighty power pour down from above. At that moment, I could no longer care about what others around me thought—I completely surrendered, fell to my knees, and wept before the Lord. At that time in my life, I was facing persecution, hardship, and uncertainty about the future. But as I chose to hold tightly to God and wait upon Him for a year, His mercy, His grace, and His healing and delivering power came upon me. In that worship, God set me completely free. He gave me strength and a hope. From that encounter, my life truly began again. Now, twenty years later, on the first Sunday after celebrating 30th anniversary banquet, I experienced once again that same deep touch from the Lord. For a brief moment, I hesitated whether to obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit to kneel down. But I thank the Lord that I did not quench His Spirit. Instead, I chose to surrender, and He led me into a deeper place of worship. Brothers and sisters, no matter what suffering or challenges you may be facing today, I want to remind you: Jesus is our eternal refuge. He will never leave you, He will never forsake you—He is always with you. In worship, you can experience His love and His power, His wonderful healing and deliverance. In His presence, you will be renewed with strength.
