Programs on Beti Padhao Beti Bachao organized during B2V2 Poonch,Nov 27: As the second phase of B2V2 enters its third day, program on the theme of Beti Padhao Beti Bachao were organised in the panchayats of Ajote and Karmara. DC Poonch Rahul Yadav were present on the ocassion along with other officers of District Administration. During the programs school bags and playing kits were distributed to Girl students of the respective Panchayats. Baby care kits were also given to the Nursing mothers through ICDS department. In panchayat Gulpur Gram sabah was organised in presence of DC Poonch and visiting officer COE JKSSB Musheer Mirza. During the gram sabah interactions were held between visiting officer and people of the panchayat. While interacting with the officers people appraised them about their issues and problems which included water and power related issues. DC Poonch appraised the Gram Sabah about different schemes of the goverment and funds sanctions to solve the issues of Rural area. He informed the people about "Har ghar nal" program to solve water related issues.He also informed about the upgradation of Receiving station at Gulpur. Representatives of Different department informed the gram sabah about the schemes and programs by which the people of the panchayat can start their own entrepreneurship. People were awares about pecan nut orchids , pollutry farms , agricultural Machinery shop and others. Simmilar, activities were also organised in other panchayat where visiting officers arrived at their designated panchayats.
