NTV Coming Distractions - The Stupids (1996)

We at #NTVComingDistractions enjoy revisiting much maligned films, to see if time has treated them fairly. Some movies, like “Freddie Got Fingered”, have become cult phenomena, but some deserve a few fresh eyes on them. One we suggest for the revisionist film historians is John Landis’ family comedy based on the kids’ book series “The Stupids”. Bombing in 1996, it may hold up better in the current climate of film adaptations of children’s books.
