How my deaf cat says hello

That’s my man Joey. He’s 18 years old and lost his hearing a few years ago and now meows obnoxiously loud whenever he sees someone. He’s also partially blind because he has been an outdoors cat his whole life and his eye got slashed up in one of his fight nights with the neighborhood wildlife. Back in his prime the dude was a straight up savage who could go outside and feed himself if he wanted to but now he’s got grandpa energy and enjoys strolls around the yard in the late-evening so the sun isn’t too bright for his eyes. This cat is a legend.
