SKY News Tonight : Thursday 25th March 2021 Stuart Mclean was misdiagnosed as having Haemophilia as a child. He was wrongly treated with the blood clotting agent Factor 8 and subsequently contracted Hepatitis C though the infected batch. Christine Burney lost her husband, Peter after he contracted Hepatitis C through contaminated blood. It is now hoped that she will receive the financial support that widows get in other UK nations.
