The North State Milling Company at 816 South Elm Street is an excellent example of an early twentieth-century industrial site, the company was founded in 1912. The original 3 floors-levels of the building features an exterior painted sign advertising Daily Bread Flour on the corbelled brick cornice. This 110 years ago building features well-preserved silos, an integral part of our architectural landscape.
