But I had to come to Texas, his ranch, because he doesn't go to New York or California, apparently. So I did. And I went to his beautiful ranch and spent an evening there. And he, in very broad strokes, explained it to me. And I said, great, I'd love to read something. He said, no, I wanna cast this first and then I'll write around the person that I cast. I said well, I like to read something first and then decide. Anyway, we went back and forth for a few weeks and then I realized that I was fighting a losing battle. So I said I'm either gonna have to commit to this or walk away and I took a leap of faith. And here I am."
