B7 ............. E There’s no need to pour my sorrows out in rhyme. ............................................................................ E Begin to write the sweet sad songs that heartaches bring. I’ve never felt the woes of the broken-hearted Or the bitterness of true love that’s departed There are no clouds in the sky So even if I try To write a song I really can’t get started. So that is why it’s been so long Since I sat down to write a song. The reason is very clear to see. I wrote those songs before I knew That I would spend my life with you.
