MicroRNA exocytosis by large dense-core vesicle fusion

MicroRNA can function like hormone, which is stored in vesicles and released by vesicle fusion. We propose ribomone (ribonucleotide plus hormone) that is stored inside large dense-core vesicle and released by active vesicle fusion, thereby regulating cell-to-cell communication including gene silencing and cellular signaling.
