DOSA, an all time favourite, is easy , delicious and a low calorie food. Samak Rice (Bhagar) and Sago (sabudana) is allowed during fasting and today we will be making thin, crispy and healthy dosa using these two and also it doesn’t require any fermentation. It is a made mostly during the fasting days & festive season of Navratri / Ekadashi. In this video we will be showing you how to make Crisp, thin and delicious Dosa . Method : two Steps , Making Batter & Chutney Mix one cup Samak Rice (Bhagar) and ½ cup sabudana (Sago) . Properly rinse the mixture– twice/thrice until the water becomes completely clear. Soak it for 4-5 hours after which , drain the excess water and transfer the mixture to a blender and bend it fine. Add water for smooth consistency. Add salt to the batter and a little sugar and mix it. Pour batter on a non sticky pan. Let the Dosa cook on medium flame until it turns golden brown. For Chutney , take fresh coconut, 2-3 green chillies, sendha namak, Jeera powder & black pepper in grinder. Tadka with Ghee , jeera & Dry red chilli.
