Richard Malik, a SIRS whistle blower contacts DedSec for help to unmask the leader of Zero Day. A DedSec operative meets Malik on a bench next to Westminster Abbey, where he discusses who he thinks the leader of Zero Day is: Emma Child, the director of counterterrorism for SIRS, and a friend of Malik. DedSec comes up with a plan to contact Emma Child: Break into the old MI:6 building and leave Child a message. At the former MI:6 building, the DedSec operative hacks the file server, and lets Bagley upload a message for Child. However, he also sends everyone related with Child security footage of the operative breaking into MI:6, which Bagley claims was to “help speed things up a bit”. Bagley informs the operative that Emma Child is planning to have a meeting in a parking garage, but the CCTV cameras have been switched off. The mission: to connect Bagley to the CTOS hub and switch the cameras back on to spy on the meeting. In the meeting Child can be seen blaming Malik for the MI:6 attack, and she is informed that Malik has completely vanished off their system and is completely off their radar. She is also informed that there is reason to believe that Malik has been in contact with DedSec who are trying to hide him. Child relocates all resources to the DedSec file to try and find Malik. After the meeting, Emma Child leaves in a car, whilst in conversation with the Home Secretary. The DedSec operative tails her car, while listening to her conversation by hacking her car’s comms. She tells the Home Secretary of her suspicions about Malik and she already knew that DedSec was listening in to their conversation – the car was a decoy the whole time and Emma Child was never in it. She also says that the car has a beacon and is bringing Albion down onto the operative, which they manage to escape. Later, Malik contacts DedSec and tells them that he is going underground as he cannot risk any contact with them anymore.
