In the western, actor Kurt Russell becomes angered at his prisoner co-star Jennifer Jason Leigh and grabs a guitar from her hands and smashes it. a replica of the 1870s six-string was supposed to be used, but it was not replaced, and Russell was unaware the instrument was the original.
