Welcome to Swansea Show Choir

Rehearsals are every Tuesday and Thursday - (rooms to be confirmed) Taster session -Tuesday 2nd October 2018 Welcome to Swansea Show Choir! We are an all singing, all dancing society that perform a range of songs from Pop to Musical Theatre. We perform with backing tracks, live bands and also acappella. No previous experience needed! Every year we take part in the Masters of Show Choir competition, will be next be hosted by Portsmouth Show Choir in March 2019. The competition requires a ~9 minute performance, each year with a different theme. In 2016 our performance was awarded 1st place, as well as coming 2nd in 2018. As well as Masters of Show Choir, we put on our annual Winter Showcase where we perform a range of small and large group numbers, as well as solos and duets. In the second semester we also collaborate with other Swansea Musicians societies in a student showcase in the Great Hall on Bay Campus.
