They chose home hemodialysis because they liked its possibility of flexibility. Steve normally dialyzes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but if something comes up on one of those days it’s no big deal, he can move his dialysis to another day. Steve and Linda liked the fact that they could make hemodialysis work for their schedule rather than having to schedule their lives around Steve’s treatments. The Scarborough Health Network has sponsored the creation of over a hundred educational videos for type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease. ━━━━━━━━━━ In 2022, this YouTube channel was rebranded as Manitoba Moonshot.
