Tula Pink's HomeMade collection is finally on its way to us! So we're rereleasing our video showing you how to make the Quilt Addicts Anonymous EXCLUSIVE pattern and kit Cross Your Heart, designed using the collection. I just love the look of HomeMade. It is filled with sewing notions, sewing machines and all in Tula's signature bright and fun colors and more is more style. The Cross Your Heart pattern is designed to look a bit like cross stitch, so everything from the fabric to the pattern are created to celebrate our love of all things HomeMade. This quilt is king sized, but features a lot of negative space. So it won't take you too long to sew up, and you can have a lot of fun playing with the negative space when it quilted. I know our quilter Shelly Moore had a blast with it! The Cross Your Heart pattern uses an entire fat quarter bundle plus some of Tula's solids and stripes for the background and binding. It is made using simple piecing and half square triangle techniques, so quilters of any level can make this fun quilt.
