DUI suspect posts bail after 3 killed in Sutter County crash

Three people were killed and an 11-year-old girl was hospitalized after a driver plowed into a parked trailer where a family was sleeping near Knights Landing on Saturday night, the California Highway Patrol said. Ismael Huazo-Jardinez, 33, of Yuba City, is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and felony driving under the influence of alcohol, the CHP said. The suspect is now out of jail after posting his $300,000 bail. The Sutter County District Attorney’s Office said it is unusual for someone to be able to post that bail amount.
