Two weeks ago Kier #starmer launched a document explaining Labour's Five Missions to be pursued under a new and profound 'Mission-Driven" policy for in order to put the country right. The document which outlines the five 'missions' is largely infantile drivel and meaningless. Second of the five 'missions' are to 'Make Britain a clean energy 'superpower'. Under the present government Britain already has one of the biggest offshore wind #offshorewind industry consisting of 42 wind farms every one of which is foreign owned. Third is to improve the #NHS, fourth to make streets safer and fifth to improve all education. All of these will require vast funding. The first 'mission' is 'Secure the highest sustained growth in the G7'. This is beyond absurd. The #ukeconomy is forecast to be the slowest growing in the G20 next year and the 19th slowest this year ahead of Russia. Inward investment, exports and the pound are all down. Business are struggling with red tape. There is chaos in public services especially the NHS and most desperately need more money. To suggest that from such a dire economic situation #labour will be able to take us to being the 'highest sustained growth in the G7' is beyond absurd and seems to confirm that Keir Starmer #keirstarmer has no idea.
