BEEAH x PepsiCo " Food For Thought" Series

As part of our ongoing partnership with PepsiCo, we were pleased to host an episode of their ‘Food for Thought’ series at the BEEAH Headquarters. The session, which was moderated by Ibrahim Al Zubi, Chair of Global Council on SDG13 – Climate Action, focused on the topic ‘Solutions from Eco Conception to Recycling’. Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO of BEEAH, and Aamer Sheikh, CEO of PepsiCo Middle East, took part in the session and offered perspectives on how the Middle East is enabling the growth of a circular economy. HE Hana Al Hashimi, Chief Climate Negotiator, Office of the UAE Special Envoy for Climate Change; HE Eng Essa Al Hashmi, Assistant Undersecretary for Sustainable Communities Sector at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE); and other dignitaries were in attendance at the event. With COP27 and COP28 being held in Egypt and the UAE respectively, discussions of this nature highlight the region’s efforts in mitigating climate change, transitioning to clean energy, adopting zero emissions strategies, and enabling a sustainable future.
