While the EDD does prefer other documents like your tax returns sending in something is going to be better than not sending in anything at all. If you have other documents that can help provide proof that you were eligible to receive PUA unemployment benefits like invoices, contracts or emails with dates in the range the EDD asked for I’d recommend sending those along with the affidavit.
