Make a Small Box from Wood Scraps

If you have too many wood scraps like me, here’s a step-by-step guide to how you can make a small box with them. This is an easy project for beginners or intermediate woodworkers that you can finish in under an hour. I think everyone should think twice about throwing away wood - trees are precious! For this small box, I use a bandsaw, drill press, belt sander, and wire stripping tool, but this is a flexible and adaptable project that could be made with hand tools like a saw, drill, and sandpaper. The end item is a tiny box that could be a ring box or hold other small items. It’s a DIY scrap wood zero waste challenge that is perfect for folks on a budget - you could even sell them and turn your scrap wood into money. No scrap left behind!
