Snap Guides: Megaman X5 Rangda Bangda

Rangda Bangda is a returning boss that first appeared in the first Megaman X game though this version has some different attacks and a far more irritating wall phase than the original. The Blue Eye will try and inflict contact damage making it easy to manipulate and avoid just don't get to complacent with it. The Red Eye attacks by send out a volley of shots up and down before rotating the shots around slowly, moving along with the shot and then dash wall jumping to get over the eye, to make it easier the Spiral Wing can be used to air stall as can the fourth armor's hover, it should go without saying that the falcon armor can just fly over the attack. The Green Eye will move to either the left or right of the arena and then start shooting blue stars at X, when it spawns and starts to move get across the stage from the Eye using the wall to get on a horizontal line with the boss before using a charged shot to break the initial attack before moving across the stage, getting in another shot on the Eye when the attack stops, the forth armour's charged shot gives a bit more room for error and the Falcon Armor needs to use it's flight to break the attack in order to stay safe due to it's narrow charged shot. When the walls close in the large spikes will appear on the floor that act just like any other spikes meaning avoiding them is a priority, to get around this try and move to the top of the walls and lure the Sun up to the top before sliding down to have X's hand be in line with the top of the triangle on the wall before before doing a tap dash jump over to the other side, using the Spiral Wing to correct any small mistakes if needed. When the boss hits half health the walls will get spikes appearing from them if there is an open spot at the top of the wall move to it though if you get the two sets of top spikes don't panic and use the Spiral Wing, Fourth armor's hover or the Falcon armor's flight to stay in the safe spot in the middle, using a damage boost from hitting the Sun if needed. If you struggle with the hard spike phase you can minimise the number of them by only damaging two of the eye colors and not hitting the Sun or the third Eye as destroying an Eye can trigger the wall phase and the boss only starts using the side spikes when at fifty percent health or lower.
