Here's my first transcription of August, on the first of August, because after four weeks, there's only one piano cover of anything from Love Stage!! I thought that'd mean Love Stage was really unpopular, but on Crunchyroll (for what that's worth), Love Stage is actually more popular than Aldnoah.Zero, and it's only 0.02 MAL points behind SAO II (...which doesn't mean much)! The point is I watched two episodes of Love Stage and it was actually pretty funny, non-ironically. The art is kinda jarring though: their huge eyes and noses and pointy chins reminds me more of Kaiji than normal Lala-Lulu J.C. Staff fare. Episode three was kinda weird too, but I'll let it pass until I fully resolve all of my sexist double standards. Both the OP and ED were pretty catchy, but I don't like the ED guy's voice so yeah, here it is. I originally wanted to get this over with quickly, but repeating the same chords all the time got boring, so you get weird stuff like those mini-melodies at 0:35, 0:46, and 0:56. You also get some super cool stuff like my favourite part, 1:20. Just look (don't listen) at that beauty! I totally ran out of ideas at 1:12, so I inexplicably created a new melody and dropped the volume out of nowhere. Sorry about that; if you want the original melody, just repeat 1:01 again. It's nice that this song is in C major, which allows all those glissandi to sound ok. Those are glissandi on the sheet and not slanted roll signs! I just omitted the Gliss. because there wasn't enough room. Feel free to gliss away! *not a real thing. courtesy of subfire P.S. If anyone thinks Izumi's brother's voice acting sounds really annoying, the seiyuu's actually the mangaka's little brother, who actually leads a real-life band called BREAKERZ. He's not thaaaat rich and popular... showoff :/
