Albums Like You've Never Heard Them : Iron Maiden — LIVE AFTER DEATH : World Slavery Tour 1984/1985

"Albums Like You've Never Heard Them" is a category I use to describe the unique remixes and slightly modified (edited) versions of individual songs or entire albums by artists that I enjoy. My dreams of being a sound engineer/mixer went unfulfilled, so I tinker with albums at home, and every now and then, I may upload the results (to share with others who might enjoy them). These edits and changes may be extended portions, sound effects dubbed in, glitches/pops/clicks removed, fade corrections, volume level matching, or whatever else I deem necessary, appropriate, or just plain fun. In this video, we have Iron Maiden's LIVE AFTER DEATH album, featuring a rearranged track sequence, and ALL the tracks from BOTH shows (the 1985 Long Beach show and the 1984 Hammersmith show) mixed in, which include all the album's original selections, plus the B-sides from the singles "RUNNING FREE Live" and "RUN TO THE HILLS Live" : RUNNING FREE (extended 8 minute version), SANCTUARY, MURDERS IN THE RUE MORGUE, and LOSFER WORDS. Now, the Long Beach tracks perfectly fill up a single CD, and the Hammermsith tracks almost fill half a CD. I have made alternate mixes of this entire tracklisting : 1. All the songs from both shows play continuously with NO fade-outs/fade-ins in between... 2. A 2-CD mix where Long Beach is on Disc 1 (79 mins) and Hammersmith (35 mins) is on Disc 2... 3. Another 2-CD set where the tracks are split more evenly at 58 minutes for Disc 1, and 56 minutes for Disc 2 ( the latter in 2 variations, one with and one without the separating fade-out/fade-in between the Long Beach and Hammersmith shows)... 4. A 3-CD set splitting up the programme into 3 "equal" parts : Long Beach parts 1 (39 mins) & 2 (41 mins), and Hammersmith (35 mins). Anyway... enjoy. PS : This video will probably get flagged or blocked (what else is new in YouTube clown world?), but until then, hopefully, fans will find it and enjoy it, and perhaps non-fans will become fans, or YouTube Reaction channels will be inspired to explore the movie HEAVY METAL and the music of its soundtrack more extensively. And if anyone DOES enjoy it, PLEASE just do the standard Like/Share thing ; don't be a dick and download it only to then re-upload to your channel without so much as a smack-me-bum of acknowledgment to me, the slob who cobbled the video together. At least give the person you steal and reupload customized videos from some due credit. I feel I have to mention this, cos a while back, some parasitic prick did that download/reupload stunt with my custom Iron Maiden LIVE AFTER DEATH "FULL album" video (Long Beach + Hammersmith recordings, including the album single's B-sides mixed in). The real kick in the nuts was, somehow, MY upload was flagged/blocked by YouNaziTube over all that license and copyright claim crap, but yet, the thieving prick still has the same video - MY video - up on his channel to this day. I know the music and the imagery are not my original work - I would never claim it as such - but the video project (the editing) is. That takes time to put together and sync up. Download for your own personal use, like offline viewing if you like, but please don't reupload without at least letting folks know where you got it. Not asking for money. Not asking for a parade or a Stat holiday in my name. Just a little respect for my "creative" efforts, such as they are. I'm running out of character space, so I can't include all the copyright specs here (go look it up on Wikipedia or something). Needless to say (but gotta say it anyway), NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED - FAIR USE and all that legal jazz. At the time of making these videos, I am never certain if I will show them to anyone, much less upload them to social media, so I do not always include all the necessary copyright info & disclaimers - maybe just the basic acknowledgments (record label, release details, songwriting/production credits, etc) and even my own little accolades stating who made this little fan video.
