Sekiro: Guardian Ape - Sword Only, Attack Power 1 - No Hit/DB/Charmless/NG
Welcome to my latest Sekiro challenge: no hitting just about every boss in the game at attack power 1 using only the sword! I appreciate you and the support. ❤ 0:00 Guardian Ape: Phase 1 Pretty self explanatory, just trying to avoid most attacks and get as many thrust attacks in as possible. Once he gets stunned you can do some decent damage. I'm aware there's a stun lock strategy that some people use for this phase but I just couldn't get the hang of it. His poop throw attack and his back flop tantrum are the moves you can get the most hits in. 7:15 Phase 2 Again, pretty self-explanatory phase. You get most damage in from deflecting his overhead slash then giving him 3 thrusts. When he does his 5 or 6 hit combo finishing with the overhead slash you can move behind him and get some free hits in. You can make this combo happen by deflecting the second hit of one of his combos but I sometimes have a hard time with it so tended to move back instead. This fight is kind of a nightmare to no hit in NG with DB/Charmless difficulty as it is very long. Stick around!
