INSANE King Crab Leg Suck Attack at Gao’s Crab

Hey everyone, it’s ‪@NinaUnrated‬ and ‪@PatrickBlackwood‬ here, and we’re absolutely buzzing to share our incredible first time experience at Gao’s CRAB, located at 9888 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, Texas! We just had the most mind blowing all you can eat seafood boil adventure though we’ll note upfront that snow crab legs aren’t part of the deal, so we added those as a special treat! From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and the tantalizing aromas hit us like a wave of pure joy. The staff greeted us with warm smiles, and the open kitchen revealed chefs crafting every dish with love, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. We kicked things off with an explosion of flavors in our drinks. We ordered the Green Grape Soldier and Strawberry Soldier sojus, which were a delightful burst of fruity freshness, perfectly balancing the richness to come. Then came the Peach Blossom 24 Shots, 24 tiny glasses of peachy perfection that we sipped and savored, turning our table into a festive party zone. The Hawaiian Sisters cocktail, with its stunning layered colors, and the classic Margarita added a tropical and zesty kick, making us feel like we were on a culinary vacation. Each sip was a celebration, and we couldn’t get enough of the creative mixology. Now, let’s talk about the food oh, it was a seafood lover’s paradise! We went all out with King crab legs, green mussels, scallops, head-on shrimp, snow crab legs (our special add-on), a succulent lobster tail, and more scallops because why not? The seafood was cooked to perfection, each bite bursting with oceanic goodness. @EATWITHPATRICKBLACKWOOD being the spice enthusiast, cranked his dishes up to a fiery level six, and the heat was intense yet irresistible, especially with the bold Cajun flavor he chose. I opted for mild with the House Cajun flavor a heavenly blend of garlic, butter, and Cajun seasoning that coated every morsel in a creamy, spicy hug. The tenderness of the crab legs, the plumpness of the mussels, and the sweetness of the shrimp had us grinning ear to ear. To round out our feast, we added a boiled egg that was perfectly cooked, sweet potato fries that were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, and six raw oysters that slid down with a briny, luxurious finish. The presentation was stunning, with each plate looking like a work of art, and the flavors danced together in harmony. The all-you-can-eat deal for $45 per person (with a 120 minute limit, dine-in only) gave us the freedom to indulge, and the half price $20 option for kids (though we didn’t bring any this time) was a nice touch. Kids under 3 eat free too, which is awesome for families! The service was top-notch attentive yet never intrusive and the cleanliness of the place made us feel right at home. We loved watching the chefs in action, their skill adding an extra layer of excitement. Patrick’s spicy level six dishes had him sweating but smiling, while my mild House Cajun kept me in bliss. The variety of seafood, the creative drinks, and the sheer abundance left us speechless every bite was a revelation, every sip a delight. We even added extra butter and sauce to enhance the experience, and at $0.99 and $4.99 respectively, it was worth every penny. This meal wasn’t just food; it was an event, a celebration of flavors and friendship. We laughed, we toasted, and we marveled at how Gao’s CRAB turned a Monday evening into a feast for the ages. The energy of the place, the quality of the ingredients, and the passion behind every dish made us vow to come back soon. Whether it’s the spicy kick Patrick loved or the mild perfection I savored, this place has something for everyone. We’re already planning our next visit, maybe with friends to share the Peach Blossom shots and tackle more King crab legs!
