About the Maharashtra Webinar Series: As part of its outreach efforts to support the Government of Maharashtra and private sector and civil society partners in response to COVID-19, the 2030 WRG Maharashtra Multi-Stakeholder Platform (MSP) has been organizing a series of webinars showcasing agri-tech and water-tech start-ups relevant to addressing the food security-related challenges brought about by agri supply chain disruptions due to the lack of labor and logistics induced by COVID-19. This initiative is a part of the Maharashtra Water MSP on building Water and Livelihood Security in Rainfed Areas, Command Area Water Productivity, and Wastewater Reuse and Management. This webinar series showcases innovations by agri-tech startups that have developed products and solutions for different stages of the agri value chain. These stages include access to inputs, farm mechanization and tools, quality monitoring and control, storage, warehousing and processing, access to markets, financing, and logistics solutions. Innovations by water-tech start-ups in increasing water-use efficiency and wastewater reuse are also being showcased. This initiative is an effort to support the Government of Maharashtra MSP and private-sector partners in building long-term resilience and water and livelihood security for farmer communities.
